It’s a family thing! Sensei Jeff Hutchings and daughter are lifelong Martial Artists. Jeff started at the age of twelve and now has more than 35 years Karate experience. Jeff is currently working toward Yondan (4th Degree) after being awarded his Sandan (3rd Degree) by a panel of Shihankai, headed by Hanshi Don Owens (9th Dan. WJKA).

Jeff still trains weekly with Hanshi Owens and is part of the Power Karate Academy program with Brian Power Sr and Jr. He is a certified teacher, and an affiliate teacher with the World Combat Association. Jeff is a member of the All-Shotokan Karate Association and is the Canda & USA representative for the current WJKA, a worldwide traditional Karate organization.

At 17, Claire has been training for 11 years and is a Shodan (1st degree) black belt with the Power Karate Academy.  She has a flare for competition and has numerous wins at various levels, including the World Traditional Karate Championships. Her most recent achievements includes three medals at the Budo Karate Championships in Scottsdale Arizona.
